The Front Paige Media book fair at Olde Mecklenburg Brewery in the spring was HUGE! There were tons of local authors, vendors, and more. Come out and check out all the new goodies at the fall book fair!
The Geekery Market is a festival of geeky artisans of ALL fandoms. Whoever you are, whatever your geekdom: you are welcome and included and part of the Geekery. It’s a place where you can buy handmade items that you might not find anywhere else – certainly not at those big box-type stores. In addition, you can enjoy fun and geeky music and activities. Most importantly, your participation helps a wonderful charity meet the nutritional needs within our local community. Come check out over 100 unique artisans selling their sci fi, fantasy and nerdy wares!

This pop-up shop will feature local vendors at Got Books in Shelby, NC. Got Books is an adorable book store and coffee shop with crystals, records, movies, and more!
The week leading up to May 2nd, visit any one of the participating coffee shops in the Boiling Springs and Shelby, NC, area for a Coffee Crawl passport! Visit each participating coffee shop to get your passport filled out. Each piece of the passport is worth more raffle tickets for a chance to win a prize at the book signing on May 2nd!

Come celebrate the release of Portals & Doorways with all the authors involved! Portals & Doorways is a short story fantasy anthology by Charlotte-local authors. We’ll have a tent at Old Mecklenburg Brewery where you can come meet the authors, purchase a copy, and get it signed!

That’s Novel Books in Camp Northend is hosting a Book Scoot, where local authors will partner with businesses around Camp Northend. You’ll collect stamps from each place and turn them in for a chance to win a prize. And along the way, you’ll learn about some great books from local authors and about some amazing businesses in the area!
Do you remember getting a break from class and taking the cash your parents gave you to go pick out a treat at the school book fair?
This is like that, but for adults! (And kids)
The Charlotte Book Fair is going to be a collection of local authors AND local bookish vendors with all kinds of amazing goodies. Plus, it’s at Olde Mecklenburg Brewery, which means you can sip a beer AND shop. It truly doesn’t get better than that!

There will be some dedicated time for chatting about books, including talking to me and another local author, Ashley Manley. We’ll have our books available for purchase (and we can sign them) and we’ll have a brief Q&A.
I’ll be sharing a table with author SL Harby at the Gaston County Comic Con! Come meet us (we’ll have books for sale, we can sign them, and we can answer questions!), dress as your favorite character from books/TV/movies/etc., and shop other great local vendors!

Lake Norman Charter High School is hosting a Silverbration, including several different activities throughout the weekend. I’ll be there during the pop-up market with my own booth to sell my books and crafts!
Editions Coffee and Books is hosting the Dog Days of Spring vendor fair! There’ll be local vendors with booths set up, a waffle-on-a-stick vendor, and more. Not to mention delicious coffee inside Editions itself! I’ll have my books and my crafts available for purchase.

The Carolina Renaissance Festival is 25 acres of renaissance themed shopping, shows, and activities. I’ll be joining about a dozen other authors at a big book stand, where we’ll be answering questions, meeting fans, and selling (and signing!) books.
ConCarolinas is the Carolinas’ longest running multi-fandom convention. It’s a weekend full of entertainment, gaming, costumes, authors, films, discussion panels and workshops with professionals in the entertainment and creative community.
