Here’s the cover I almost went with for Deathriser of Darkwood: From the Ashes! It definitely gave more of the young adult vibe that I wanted, but it just didn’t quit feel right. Ultimately, I’m glad I went with the skull design, but I still love this cover!

Did you know I once made candles for Thieves of Joy?
I never ended up doing much with them aside from gifting them to a couple very early readers. I made a Tallis candle, a Lolli candle, and an Odessa candle. The Tallis candle ended up being my favorite. So, if you ever wondered what Tallis smells like… he smells like black sea and peppercorn.

I went through so many weird stages with Eos. It was my first time ever writing and publishing, so I was definitely learning as I went (if we’re going to be honest, I’m STILL learning #CantStopWontStop).
When I designed my first cover, I hardly knew Photoshop, so I essentially just pasted different hair onto a picture of myself with a hood up (as if you wouldn’t recognize me lol).
My working title was Deviants, but I felt it sounded too similar to Divergent, especially as another dystopian book. So instead, I called it Eos.
The below images aren’t really that relevant, but it’s something I’ve never shared— except on here! This was a goofy little wrap I made for coffee mugs when I thought I’d make some cool merch, but I didn’t like them, so I just abandoned the idea.
